Woman Barricades Herself In Philadelphia Apartment During Domestic Incident, SWAT Called

Officers responded to the 7400 block of Oxford Avenue in the 2nd District at 11:42 a.m. and found the woman alone in the apartment, according to a release. The situation was declared a barricade at 12:08 p.m., prompting SWAT to be called to the scene, police said.

Authorities established a staging area on the 800 block of Bleigh Avenue while attempting to resolve the standoff. The woman was taken into custody without incident at 12:30 p.m., police reported.

No injuries were reported during the incident.
